Been several times now on my travels. Service swift, nice atmosphere, and the food excellent. I had the pork belly which was superb, and my partner went for the halloumi wrap which was excellent. Would imagine imagine that booking from June onwards might be wise, as I'd expect the whole town to be alot busier. We did just walk in. Highly recommend!

I held my husband's wake here and the food & service was second to none. Ollie listened to what we wanted and even asked for a playlist of our favourite music. All our family & friends commented on the lovely food. The girls worked really hard going up & down the stairs fetching drink orders. I honestly couldn't have asked for more & during an extremely stressful time, it was so reassuring to know that Ollie would take care of everything.

We decided that on our recent week's holiday in Woolacombe we would eat in a different restaurant every night apart from the last night. On the last night we chose to go back to our favourite restaurant of the week and we both agreed that S Q Bar & Restaurant was definitely the best (although it was a close run contest with our other favourite being The Thatched Inn at Ilfracombe). On our first visit my partner Kim opted for the Sunday Roast (served all day, not just at lunchtime) while I opted for The Thai Prawn Curry with a Spring Roll added as an extra. Both meal's were absolutely delicious. On our second visit Kim went for the Pork Belly and although there were some tempting alternatives on the menu I couldn't resist the Thai Curry again which was just as lovely second time around. The decor in the restaurant is modern but cosy (please see photo's) and the service was top notch on both occasions. Apart from being the best meal of our week it was also probably the best value with prices generally around the 15 to 16 mark. They also do a great value set menu with 3 courses costing 25 and 2 courses costing 20 (these prices drop to 23 and 18 if you eat before 5pm). There are also a variety of main courses available for 10 each when you eat between 12 and 5. All in all a great experience and we're already looking forward to visiting again next year.

Stopped here for a quick lunch, we all had a roast, it exceeded all expectations. Great value for money, service was quick. We cleared our plates, so satisfying. We'll definitely be back!

Amazing service and food as always. came on Sunday without booking, thought we'll chance it. And they found us a table without problem! Orders came fast and as always delicious. We had pizzas for kids, super salad with smoked salmon and mussels, followed by sticky toffee puddings, ice creams and sorbets. All very tasty!

Just took my daughter and granddaughter for Mothers Day lunch Carvery vegetarian carvery pizza for the 7yo. All food was delicious we cleared our plates. Really impressive menu both for adults and child. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. Can't recommend highly enough
